Your 2.5 SOHC runs on the DENSO DM ECU (Denso Benziner (Toyota/Lexus VVT-i/D4-S, GT86/BRZ, Subaru EJ/FA inkl. WRX STi, Mazda MZR/SkyActiv-G/RX-8, JLR AJ-V8 P5.0SC/MB279700, Mazda Gen1/Gen2) family). We read out the original software, back it up and adapt the maps individually. No off-the-shelf file.
Naturally aspirated engines gain less power by nature. We optimise ignition timing, mixture and the throttle map; what you notice most is sharper response.
The original stock software can be restored at any time.
