How much power does tuning add to the Mazda 3 (BM) 2.2 SkyActiv-D 150 PS?

For this ECU family the typical Stage 1 gain is +15–25 % (guide value, stock: 150 PS). We don't promise a fixed figure; the result depends on engine condition, fuel and original software.

How much does tuning the Mazda 3 (BM) 2.2 SkyActiv-D 150 PS cost?

Stage 1 costs €300, Stage 2 €375. Fixed price including individual calibration, whether on site in Stödtlen or by sending in the ECU.

Do I have to come to you?

No. You can bring the car to us in Stödtlen (you choose the preferred date when ordering) or send in the removed ECU. The price is the same.

Do I need extra hardware?

Not for Stage 1, which is a pure software optimisation. Stage 2 requires modified hardware (upgraded intercooler and/or downpipe with sport cat).

When ordering: one fixed price, no deposit, no second payment.

Can I go back to stock?

Yes, the original stock software can be restored at any time. Restoring it does not, however, undo the legal effect of having used the vehicle on public roads in the meantime.

Can I use it on public roads?

No. The software change voids the type approval; the software is intended for motorsport use only.

What the tune does for your Mazda 3 (BM)

Your 2.2 SkyActiv-D runs on the DENSO SH12 ECU (Denso/Transtron Diesel (Toyota/Lexus D-4D/D-CAT, Mazda MZR-CD/SkyActiv-D, Nissan YD25/ZD30 dCi, Mitsubishi DI-D, Opel 1.7 CDTI (Isuzu), Subaru Boxer-Diesel, Isuzu 4JJ) family). We read out the original software, back it up and adapt the maps individually. No off-the-shelf file.

On diesels we mainly optimise injection quantity, rail pressure and boost as well as the torque and smoke limiters, for clearly stronger pull from low revs.

The original stock software can be restored at any time.
