Your 2.0/2.4 (Theta) runs on the SIEMENS/CONTINENTAL SIM2K-140/141/142/341/C201/D160 ECU (Siemens/Continental Benziner (SIMTEC Opel, SIRIUS/SIM32 Renault, EMS/EMS2 Renault/Dacia/Ford/Mini, EMS21xx/22xx/24xx Ford Sigma/Duratec, EMS25xx Ford 1.5 EcoBoost, EMS31xx Renault/Nissan TCe, SIM19–29/SIM210 Ford/Mazda, SIM2K Hyundai/Kia) family). We read out the original software, back it up and adapt the maps individually. No off-the-shelf file.
Naturally aspirated engines gain less power by nature. We optimise ignition timing, mixture and the throttle map; what you notice most is sharper response.
The original stock software can be restored at any time.
