Whether the ECU has to be sent in depends on its build date: up to 08/2019 the unlock runs straight over OBD2 and nothing leaves your garage. From 09/2019 onwards a bench or AutoTuner / FEMTO unlock is needed, so the unit comes out and comes to us. We quote the more demanding route here. If you know your build date or are unsure, just ask.
