Your 2.4 JTD 20v M-Jet runs on the BOSCH EDC16C8 ECU (Bosch EDC16 Common-Rail (C/CP/+: Fiat/Alfa/Opel C39/C9/C8, PSA/Ford C34/C0/C3/CP39, Renault C36/C0, Mercedes C2/C31/CP31/CP36, VAG V6 CP34, Hyundai EDC16+, Volvo C31) family). We read out the original software, back it up and adapt the maps individually. No off-the-shelf file.
On diesels we mainly optimise injection quantity, rail pressure and boost as well as the torque and smoke limiters, for clearly stronger pull from low revs.
The original stock software can be restored at any time.
