Your 2.2 JTS 16v GM runs on the BOSCH MED7.6.1 ECU (Bosch ME9.x/MED9.6/MED9.7/MED7.6 Nicht-VAG (Mercedes ME9.7 M272/M273, MED9.7 CGI, Opel/Saab/Cadillac ME9.6.x V6 Turbo, Ford ME9 2.5 Duratec ST/RS, Holden ME9.1 V6, Ferrari/Chevrolet MED9.6.1, Alfa MED7.6.x JTS) family). We read out the original software, back it up and adapt the maps individually. No off-the-shelf file.
Naturally aspirated engines gain less power by nature. We optimise ignition timing, mixture and the throttle map; what you notice most is sharper response.
The original stock software can be restored at any time.
